Special or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service do not intend to collect information about website visitors under the age of 16 unless there is parental or guardian consent. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is over 16. We recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data collection about children without parental consent. If you believe that we have collected personal information about a minor without such permission, please contact us at info@theflowerfarm.nl, and we will delete this information.
 
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
The Flower Farm processes your personal data for the following purposes:
  • To handle your payment
  • To be able to call you or send you an email if this is necessary for us to carry out our services
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • The Flower Farm also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return.
 
Automated decision-making
The Flower Farm does not make decisions based on automated processing about matters that can (significantly) affect people. Automated processing entails decisions being made by computer programs or systems without a human being (for example, an employee of The Flower Farm) being involved.

The Flower Farm uses the following computer programs or systems: MS Outlook for email, MS Word for invoicing and correspondence, and MS Excel for recording performance.
 
How long do we retain personal data
The Flower Farm will not retain your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to carry out the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data: 

Personal details
Retention period of one year. If a customer-supplier relationship has not been established within one year, The Flower Farm assumes that it will not happen in the near future either. 

Address
Retention period of one year. If a customer-supplier relationship has not been established within one year, The Flower Farm assumes that it will not happen in the near future either. 

Email address
Retention period of one year. If a customer-supplier relationship has not been established within one year, The Flower Farm assumes that it will not happen in the near future either. 

To comply with laws and regulations and the obligation to retain financial data, invoice addresses and addressees are archived for a period of 7 years.
 
Sharing personal data with third parties
The Flower Farm only provides data to third parties if this is necessary to execute our agreement with you or to meet a legal obligation.

The Flower Farm only uses functional (technical) cookies and analytical cookies, which do not infringe on your privacy.
